We've been asking how our union with Christ changes us (remember the waddling geese?). This week, we continue to uncover the radical implications of our new identity in Christ for all of life in Colossians 3:18-4:1, Paul's instructions to Christian households. There are certainly many questions we may have of this text! I hope, through a close reading, and against the backdrop of Roman household codes, we will see a wonderful, countercultural, subversive vision for our relationships in light of our new identity in Christ, transformed in his image, and under his Lordship.
