The Summer worship schedule begins next Sunday, June 18. There will be one combined service at 9:30 am held in Heritage Hall. The Crawler and Toddler nurseries will be open for children 0-36 months and Little People’s Church for children age 3 years through those entering first grade. God’s House will not meet in the summer. A reminder that the church parking lot is for elderly and families with small children. Thank you for your cooperation.
Family Promise Begins Next Week
Our commitment to provide meals and hosting begins next Sunday! Please remember that sign ups are now live on the church website for serving with Family Promise the weeks of June 18-July 1 and July 23-August 5. Volunteers are still needed to provide meals, which does not require training. We also are in need of hosts and overnight helpers. The next training date is June 17 at 9:00 am in the Ministry Center classroom 22. Please contact Shelly Moran at email@example.com with any questions.
VBS Leader Orientation Tomorrow

News From the Library
Our shelves have been overflowing with lots of new books this spring. The last date the library will be open is today! Please return any books that you may have borrowed to the cart outside the library. We will reopen in the fall with some exciting new displays and books, some from local authors! The library is also looking for two more people to help on Sundays in the fall. If you can volunteer 1 or 2 Sunday mornings a month from 9:30-10:00 am or 12:00-12:30 pm, please let Jane know. Duties would involve helping people with book check out and check in. Thank you for prayerfully considering volunteering in the library. Jane Johnson, firstname.lastname@example.org

VBS Is Almost Here!!!!
We are sill looking for many VBS volunteers: preschool, recreation, nursery, crafts, elementary, kitchen, group leaders, assistants, and floaters to serve either the full or partial week. High school and college students, adults and grandparents are invited to serve with us. Don’t miss this exciting week! See Kathy or Christine to sign up.
Welcome 3rd Graders
Next Sunday, June 18 during the service please take a moment to welcome a 3rd grader to worship as they graduate from God’s House! They will each receive a sermon journal at this milestone as they continue to mature and gain new responsibilities in our faith community. This journal will allow the 3rd graders to actively engage in the sermon and provide opportunities to reflect with their families throughout the week about the worship service.
